This boulder is perched on a hilltop just north of the tiny farming settlement of Newman (don't look for it on the map) a little over a mile east of Lake Placid, NY. The nearest major road is NYS Route 73, the High Peaks Scenic Byway. The boulder is on private property. Please do not trespass (we obtained the owner's permission to visit it).
