Slightly northeast of the main cluster of the Second Set of the McKenzie Pond Boulders are the Swamp boulders. Here, multi-instrumentalist and music teacher Sue Grimm plays the alto flute under the overhanging west face of "Swamp Two". "Swamp One" is at left. The passage between these two boulders channels an enormous amount of energy: sometimes alluring; sometimes intimidating. The name for these boulders was inspired by a small swamp located out of the picture behind "Swamp Two".
